7.) Human species-part 1 (lengthy)
Evolutionary knowledge surpassed,
Answers to questions that were asked.
From the supposed first to the last,
There were at least 21 different human species identified from the beauty of the past.
Potentially dating back 6 to 7 million years ago, they were known to be one of the oldest,
"Sahelanthropus tchadensis" is the name, and they are the fossils that are the closest.
From about 4.4 million years ago, these relics adapted to both bipedal walking and a life lived on the trees.
"Ardipithecus ramidus" by name, and they were the overlookers of a surrounding area called the diocese.
Was she a beauty of a throttle? Do you know the amazing "Lucy" fossil? She walked upright alright but also had a small brain.
"Australopithecus afarensis" and this is her beautiful yet formal name.
Dating back 3.5 to 3.2 million years ago,
a flat face found in Lake Turkana, Kenya;
"Kenyanthropus platyops" is the name, and they were situated on the east side of Nigeria.
Existed from 2.7 to 2.3 million years ago, with a strong jaw and a sagittal crest,
"Paranthropus aethiopicus" had large teeth and could tear down one with a masculine vest.
They lived about 2.4 to 1.4 million years ago and were known for using tools in this evolutionary series.
"Homo habilis" started it all as they had their own facts and theories.
Lived around the same time as Homo habilis, possibly a distinct species,
"Homo rudolfensis" is the name, and they were impeccable compared to the goddess Ceres.
Tall and slender, with more human-like proportions,
"Homo ergaster" was hairless and fearless with a name of a disputed disaster.
Beautiful hunters with food served on a platter; warriors they were, and herds would simply scatter.
One of the first hominins to have human-like body parts was "Homo erectus", which had shorter arms.
"Homo erectus" was bright and bold and possessed strategic charms.
We are almost there!
Found in Dmanisi, Georgia, representing an early migration out of Africa.
No evidence of a fetus, we have "Homo georgicus", amazing and bright; what sweetness!
Advanced spines, what completeness!
Greater mobility, no prosthesis!
These folks lived in Spain around 1.2 million to 800,000 years ago; they are indeed a successor,
Especially being a common ancestor, their name "Homo antecessor".
A mind-bending queue,
11 listed of the 21 few,
A life that progressed and grew,
The last of it is found in part two.
