5. Insulin Coma Therapy (Psych)

Syringes glint, insulin flows,

patients drift where consciousness goes.

Blood sugar dips, the body bends,

coma induced to cure the trends.

Early wards, sterile and white,

therapists watched through day and night.

Schizophrenia, severe depression, catatonia,

treatments given with careful criteria.

Sugars slide, senses sway,

nerves tangle, and thoughts decay,

can induced sleep truly wash all fear away?

By modern times, the method waned,

safer therapies now firmly gained.

Yet history whispers, caution rings,

lessons hidden in forgotten wings.
