Between Then and Now
Writing for Change: My Story of Honesty and Mental Health Advocacy
When I first started my personal blog and AllPoetry page, my poems were intense, raw, and deeply personal. I wrote about the contradictions I saw in religious texts and the harmful behaviors of their followers. I called this collection Secrets Revealed. These poems were not meant for everyone—they were written for a specific audience, reflecting my honesty and the truths I felt compelled to express.
From the very beginning, mental health advocacy has been at the heart of my work. Moving forward, my advocacy for outgrowing religion and the psychotic disturbances associated with imagined beings will evolve from a critical approach to one that is much simpler, respectful, and accessible. Alongside this, I address pressing real-world issues—crime, corruption, climate change, pollution, endangered species, war, and the failures of systems that claim morality but perpetuate harm. My writing aims to raise awareness, spark constructive dialogue, and inspire meaningful change in a compassionate, evidence-based manner.
If someone scrolls back to my early poems, they’ll see an unfiltered, raw truth. Every piece I’ve written, past and present, is part of a larger story: speaking boldly, questioning deeply, and advocating for a better, more rational, and mentally healthy world.
The journey is ongoing, but every line, every thought, is a testament to courage, clarity, and care.
