DSM Realities
Obsessions linger deep in the night,
Phobias constrict, fears take flight.
Depression dims what once was bright,
Bipolar shifts, moods twist and bite.
OCD haunts with rituals tight,
Eating disorders steal joy from sight.
ADHD sparks a restless mind,
Autism shapes perceptions kind.
Borderline edges emotions’ sway,
Personality patterns in shades of gray.
Substance use blurs the path we take,
Sleep disorders steal the rest we make.
Dissociation fractures what we know,
Trauma echoes where shadows grow.
Each diagnosis, precise, profound,
Guides treatment paths where care is found.
Insight, therapy, and empathy’s art,
Bring hope and healing to every heart.
