DSM Reflections
Anxiety whispers, fear takes flight,
Obsessions linger deep at night.
Depression dims the brightest days,
Affecting moods in hidden ways.
Bipolar swings with highs and lows,
Schizophrenia's maze of thought bestows.
PTSD haunts with vivid recall,
Eating disorders disrupt it all.
Neurodevelopment shapes the course,
ADHD drives impulsive force.
Understanding, care, and insight true,
Guide the path for those we view.
Each diagnosis, carefully framed,
Deserves respect, not blame, nor shame.
Early intervention lights the way,
Hope and healing grow each day.
