Krishna and Preethi's Story
In India’s heart, she walks like light,
Eyes like monsoon skies, dark yet bright.
Her laughter flows like rivers in spring,
Every glance makes my restless heart sing.
Her voice, a melody, soft as the breeze,
Her touch, a warmth that brings me to ease.
Strength and grace in every stride,
A universe within her, vast and wide.
I saw her waiting on the dock that day,
News heavy, tears she could not sway.
Krishna and Preethi's baby lost, a dream undone,
Yet in her silence, courage shone like sun.
She is the jasmine in the humid night,
The first sunbeam that chases twilight.
All that is gentle, fierce, and true,
India’s own wonder, always you.
