The Ocean calls
With no air to breathe,
What could life provide us?
With ignorance and rubbish,Who could entice us?
Bones broken from a disease like arthritis-
Oh no! We are killing our habitat,
Why does it excite us?
Shaded in, aren't we the brightest? Plastic in the ocean is a true environmental crisis.
Power dynamics and heights,
Could they not avoid political fights?
The global ocean calls out:
"There is a terrible leakage from a whole lot of landfill sites."
Eighty percent of ocean plastic comes from land;
Litter litters the beaches, polluting the sand.
Biodiversity with a sour taste-
All caused by mismanaged waste.
Marine life suffers with progression,
Through entanglement and ingestion.
You can die too by eating sea food;
This is a statement with no hesitation.
Just for you to feel the sensation Of the food chain contamination.
A rhyme with no disruption:
Plastic pollution!
Are we caring about the ecosystem's destruction?
By 2050, the weight of all plastic in the sea will outweigh the total weight of all fish-
A scientific observation.
Are you ready to make a wish?
Truth or double dare:
Spread awareness and treat the ocean fair.
Care now, or nothing survives.
The choice is ours- will you help save the tides?
