3. Leadership Lost in South Africa

They speak in circles, lose the thread,

Promises crumble, truth left for dead.

Fingers point, excuses fly,

While citizens watch, asking “why?”

Confusion reigns where reason should stand,

Chaos dances wild, slipping from our hand.

Minds entangled, lost in the fray,

Leadership fractured, night and day.

Decisions shaky, judgment impaired,

We wonder how anyone is cared.

Oh politicians, can you not see?

The nation aches from your instability.

Step aside, or find some cure,

For sanity’s call is long and pure.

We need minds that think, not hearts that flee-

Not leaders lost in their own debris.

Shall we rise, or stay where we be?
