The harmful use of psychoactive substances,

The crime and corruption involved is manipulating all kinds of injustices.

As their hearts rumble and gets annoyed,

The facts remain that stimulant drugs make you more depressed and paranoid.

Substances have their perks; brain volume decreases and long-term memory no longer works.

Genetic vulnerability is a reactor,
Social pressures dig like a tractor.

Environmental stressors are plugged into the life adaptor; Individual personality becomes a term for a substance raptor.

A subtle understanding of the feelings that produce; question is...can you surrender to that alcohol-free juice?

As minds grow weak and seek an excuse,

It can turn strong and overrule something called substance abuse.
