Prehistoric Legend
Click, click, click...
The musical melody of an ancient flick.
A bite when threatened,
This is what's mentioned:
The years are climbing,
The words are rhyming,
And the universe has a wild sense of timing.
Trees are as old as 360 million years;
This is a beautiful creation that shifts in the gears.
A cry with no tears,
Saturn is older at 400 million years.
The mystical truth that clears;
Sharks stand tall at 450 million years.
Time has been noted! Cheers!
Sharks are older than the planet Saturn, do you see nature's pattern?
Sharks are older than trees and they have been living in the seven seas.
Up to 100 million sharks die per year,
Is there fear? or a poached meal with a beer?
A mix of educational potions,
Poof! And only a tad few is bothered about saving the oceans.
Sharks prevent the spread of disease,
Apex predators, and they are better than the diocese.
They outlived the dinosaurs and achieved life distinctions; did you know? They survived 5 mass extinctions.
As we pay attention to the ocean's lesson,
Bear in mind that 2 to 3 sharks die every second.
Just as the answer can be found in this expression,
Click, click, click! Let us save our prehistoric legend.
