The 4th spin in the vortex,


We start off with area 4, the primary motor cortex.


Frontier drawn on the charts,


This area controls voluntary movements for specific body parts.


Metaphoric with four decks,


Area 6, the premotor and supplementary motor cortex.


Rhymes with amusements,


This one is involved in planning and coordinating movements.


With glamour that appeals,

We move on to area 8, the frontal eye fields.


A brainy comprehension,


Area 8 regulates voluntary eye movements and your visual attention. 


You just entered another dimension.


A ladder with a few more steps,


Areas 9, 10, 11, 12, 46 and 47 make up our prefrontal cortex.


Important in scanning,

Research is ever expanding;


These areas support emotion regulation and task planning.


With a mini extension,


Let us not forget that it also supports working memory, decision-making and attention.


No direct damage from hysteria,


Areas 44 and 45 are our Broca's area.


An amazing puncture,


Broca's area is essential for speech production and language structure.


The map to a frontal slope,

The readiness for a neuro strobe,


Awareness for the entire globe,

These areas are found in our frontal lobe.
