8.) Your neurotransmitters

Something like a plane with passengers,

Your neurotransmitters are your body's chemical messengers.

With much in this realm,

This bit will be simple and is not designed to overwhelm.

Whatever your actions may be, this is all determined without a doubt,

Round and about,

Chemical messengers are what your body cannot function without.

From relations to operations,
These messages help you feel sensations.

From moving your limbs to sweeping,
These messages keep your heart beating.

All truly purposeful,

Neurotransmitters are located in your axon terminal.

Excitatory, inhibitory, and modulatory,

One of three possible actions in their messages, and it's all articulatory.

After the neurotransmitters deliver their message,

There shouldn't be an issue with anything left, as the molecules must be cleared from the synaptic cleft.

They fade away; this is diffusion, or they are reused and reabsorbed; this is reuptake, or

They are broken down by enzymes, a process called degradation,

Done in one of three ways, what a liberation!

A subject to view without filters,
A signal to ponder from the emitters,

A time to switch the transistors,

Glutamate, GABA, Glycine, Serotonin, Histamine, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine and Endorphins-

These are examples of amino acids, monoamines, and peptide neurotransmitters,

Any they exist in different categorical proportions.

So much involved, it's best we take care with the utmost precautions.
