1. Transorbital Lobotomy (Psych)

 An orbitoclast passed through the eye,

a measured tap, a practiced try.


Frontal pathways cut with care,

in hopes to quiet deep despair.


Freeman’s method, swiftly spread,

tens of thousands underwent instead.


Schizophrenia, depression, pain,

relief was promised, not always gained.


Frontal fibers flick, flap, and fly,

clinical caution will not lie.

But who can truly heal the mind, or try?


By the 1950s, progress grew,

with chlorpromazine, treatments new.


The pick retired, its work resigned,

a somber chapter, redefined.

People can gossip, people can curse, people can throw funny remarks, and people can give you a fright. You are great, You are bright, Don't forget! You are glamorous in sight, whether in day or in night. People can break your heart by not knowing the good tendencies you have, People can take advantage of you even though it's honesty and love you only had, Remain calm!
