Balance of the Earth

Carbon climbs, the glaciers weep,

Oceans warm and forests sleep.

Nitrogen, phosphorus, cycles run,

Life depends on the Earth and Sun.

Pollutants rise in rivers and air,

Species vanish, none to spare.

Photosynthesis feeds the air,

Plant a tree, show that you care.

Renew, recycle, guard each tree,

Or science warns: the Earth will plea.
