Mind over Myth

In the hush of night, whispers crawl,

Phantoms stretch along the wall.

Shadows stir within the mind,

No spirits dwell, no fangs to find.

Neurons flicker, thoughts entwine,

Fear’s illusion, not the divine.

Psychiatry charts the restless seas,

Neurology whispers in silent decrees.

Demons imagined, yet none reside,

All exists within—the brain’s own tide.

No gods, no angels, no djinn appear,

Only neurons spark, the mind’s own sphere.

Illusions rise where fears have grown,

All that you dread exists alone.

Circuits hum in a world of their own,

The mind constructs all we’ve ever known.
