One of South Africa's Dark Secrets Exposed

One of South Africa’s dark secrets exposed — innocent lives slain,

Lions in cages, suffering in vain.

Cubs ripped away, bred for the gun,

Bones sold in shadows when the slaughter is done.

Reports reveal the farms where horror thrives,

Skeletons and sickness, stolen cubs’ lives.

South Africa, land of lions’ roar,

But you chain them, starve them, sell them for more.

Government’s lies drift thin in the sky,

While cruelty thrives and the lions die.

A nation of pride now rots in disgrace,

The lion’s roar haunts your two-faced face.
