6. No Gods in the Stars

There is no throne in the empty sky,

no hand to sculpt, no reason why.

Atoms collided, photons raced,

gravity shaped all we’ve traced.

The Earth was not willed by prayer or song,

but formed from dust, enduring and strong.

Stars ignited without command,

galaxies spun at nature’s hand.

No scripture, creed, or holy claim

can bend the universe or stake its name.

Religion feeds myths, distorts the start,

of planets, of cosmos, of matter and heart.

Black holes swallow, comets collide,

laws of physics alone decide.

Dark energy stretches, dark matter flows,

the universe grows as science knows.

And still we watch, and still we learn,

tracing the cosmos at every turn.
